The menu say vegetarian burger. So, it is a burger.

So why are they called Hamburgers? The meat is beef. Damn you 'muricans.
Meat on bottom, just because you put the meat on first then build the rest of the sandwich.

Actually the name is said to have come from Hamburg. Nice effort though.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Here's the history:
The term hamburger originally derives from Hamburg,[2] Germany's second largest city, from which many people emigrated to the United States. In High German, Burg means fortified settlement or fortified refuge and is a widespread component of place names. Hamburger, in the German language, is the demonym of Hamburg. Similar to frankfurter and wiener, names for other meat-based foods, being demonyms of the cities of Frankfurt and Vienna (Wien), respectively.
The term "burger", a back-formation, is associated with many different types of sandwiches similar to a (ground meat) hamburger, using different meats, such as a buffalo burger, venison, kangaroo, turkey, elk, lamb, salmon burger or veggie burger.[3]

In public, nope.
There's a tide of opinion that he wouldn't mind at all, though. You've seen the calendars he puts out? Search for "vladimir putin calendar."

Many people don't consider meatless burgers to be actual burgers. They're wrong, of course, but they still exist.
meatless burgers, by the very definition of what a hamburger is are not burgers... they are vegetable patty sandwiches.
And also a crime against humanity and good taste.

Needs a good BBQ sauce on it, but other than that, this is the true way to eat a burger. Some cheese can also be added if you swing that way. Personally I like a little mozzarella in there, but I can see why people might like a bit of swiss or some blue cheese if you like something stronger.

It is that thing people assume I eat because I am vegetarian. But really, I hardly ever eat some, except if french fries count as a vegetable. Or ketchup/tomato sauce.

My brother! As a vegetarian people assume I only eat salad, like for every meal. Always. There are some days nary a vegetable passes my lips thanks to the majesty that is rice, beans and cheese. I loves me some rice, beans and cheese and can (and have) eaten that for all three meals in a single day.

Yeah. People tend to believe vegetarian try to have a balanced diet or something.
I pity the fool ! While eating ice-cream.

Many people, at least here in France. For their defense, there are very few vegetarian around here, compared to other countries like England or even, I guess, the U.S.A.

It is not. Not sure about what the exact definition of mushroom is in English, but the part we eat is the reproductive organ of some organism that primarily consist of a vast network of very tiny but very long roots iirc. Maybe we should rename it into root penis (because, really, it looks more like a penis than a vagina).

Or maybe they will just not care bout you, unless you actually seem interested? I am pretty sure there has been much much more people trying to convince me to eat meat or drink alcohol than the other way around.
