So I was planning on trying out a guard regiment on a western medieval theme, by saying they were recruited from a feudal world. I googled it however and I couldn't find much.
Does anyone know where I can find a few similar examples? Or maybe some places I can get some good medieval models? I know WHFB has some I could use but my big problem is that I don't want to go down the high fantasy route that a lot of it follows, I want more like actual Medieval sallets, pot helms, bassinets and great helms and the like.

The Perry Brothers have popular plastic kits for War of the Roses and similarly dated infantry and cavalry, not to mention a bunch of previews for new kits for WotR and the Hundred Years War periods. If none of those satisfy your jonesing for medieval minis, there are a load of metal minis from different manufacturers. IIRC Foundry sells the Perrys' old bretonnians as HYW minis, 'cos they're so fantasy-free and based on real life.
Shield worlds... TBH I've never heard of anything like that. Are they like feudal worlds?

Ugh yeah Feudal Worlds, I'm dumb. No idea how I got the two mixed up.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll look those up immediately, here's to hoping they're affordable.

Holy hell I'm tearing up.
This site is great, I'm tempted to add rough riders just to make use of their cavalry models.

Just pray you don't run into any medieval wargame crossover players. Mixing sallets, pot helms, bascinets, and great helms will raise any history buff's hackles.

Just a few examples of some of the Cadian plastics mixed with some of the plastic warhammer fantasy models (pith helms, etc).
Same Squad as above, but pre-painting.
Hope those help ya out sir.
Take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed. |

Many options depending on how much you want to kitbash. My plan was for an army like this:
- Feudal world levies from fireforge.
- Power armoured stormtroopers from DFG.
- Heavy infantry Valkir also from DFG.
The feudal world levies are basically chain armoured and would need lasguns or 3rd party autoguns. These can be obtained pretty cheaply in quantity if you look around or youc an get really high quality ones such as from vic minis but they tend to cost a fair bit.
Mounted sergeants would make perfect rough riders and with some arm/weapon replacement the teutonic infantry would make great guardsmen. They have about 6-8 kits that would work well like this depending on the flavour you want. I wanted a germanic theme overall. But haven't started on this project yet... other than buying everything ; p
