Here's a Wyrmgear that I got tp paint up a little while ago. The mini really has tons of options for composition since he's made up of so many different metallic parts that could be picked out in many different formations.

Here is version. And I've posted him to CMON for anyone who cares to vote.

Not sure what the model is, but looks fantastic. Good job.

Wow!

All in all the whole model is pleasing to the eye but the wings are really spectacular. I especially like the fading and rune work, very crisp and clean.

The dragon seems large but it is hard to get a sense of scale on the model. What size base is the model mounted on?

Excellent. As above I'd like to see a scale shot, this seems quite big.

Oh, the base- it isn't a normal base at all. I mounted him on a CD- it is a 120mm base (the same size that Privateer Press uses for their oversized minis).

I keep old CDs around for that- and I have a supply of mini CDs for making 80mm bases (which is the same size Dark Age and Relic Knights uses for their oversized bases).

I found someone else's size comparison photo:

So he's a big mini, but not as large as the oversized minis that Games Workshop and Privateer Press are making right now.

I love this and will actually be buying two of those dragons now because that paintjob really does show how good that model is.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

I've been holding off on mine to use as an IKRPG boss on a huge base, nice to see it looks perfect on it. And that is truly fantastic paint work!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Thanks.

I was really happy when I found out that CDs are exactly the same size as the huge PP bases. And I can tell you from experience, that Nethyrmaul is also a good fit on a 120mm base.
