Right now the leaves at the end of his branches are just painted flat green. I'm not sure what else to add to them without making them look a little silly. Should I try accenting a little highlight at the top of each? Or are they good as is?

Just a highlight at the top and a fine line along the central vein would do the trick.

Hmm, dark or light for the vein? That should definitely be doable with some patience.

If they already have texture (i cant tell from the picture), just a wash and highlight would do the trick, otherwise a dark vein would look good.

They curve a little, but they're otherwise quite flat. I'll try a dark vein and a little light accent and see how I like it. Thanks both of you!
