Hello guys, since the news that Space Wolf Drop Pods are Fast Attack instead of Dedicated Transports I have been feverishly thinking of ways to build my ODST themed Scion (MT) Drop Pod army. I am asking for your guys help (as I am currently at work) and would like a list of every single Imperial Character that can affect reserve rolls (aka give me the +1) and best fit the roll of "Master Chief" in my ODST army. Thanks!

19th Krieg Siege Army 7500pts.
40k/HH Night Lords 5000pts.
Orks Waaaghmacht Spearhead 2500pts.

Well, he doesn't effect reserve rolls but i think the best character to represent him is Cypher. Cypher is one of those rare characters that actually fights ranged combat *GASP!* while being good in combat. He has Eternal Warrior, as every Spartan should, and duel wields his plasma pistol and bolt pistol as MC does with the Plasma and Magnum. When you add in the fact he is fast as all hell (I7!), scary accurate (Bs 10!) and quite good in combat, i can't think of anyone who fits the theme half as well,

Nonsense. Marbo would not sink to the level of pretending to be such a weak character.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

over there

Considering the fact that practicaly everyone in 40k is a lot more awesome than the master chief.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.

Just some random Grot. Give him a chance to shine!

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

This, for certain. You can grab the rules off the Black Library site as an Ebook.

He is extremely fun to use I've found, he can run through some squads single handedly, especially if he makes use of hit and run, he works decently as a lone wolf even and otherwise he works great in a squad as well, as he gives them all shrouded, ATSKNF and the aforementioned hit and run.

While I agree with you that WH40K lore and models on the whole are much more original, complex, and powerful than the Halo universe, we should not be shooting down people's ideas of what they want to do with their army. This guy has a vision and I would agree that perhaps Cypher is the closest model to MC

Especially considering Spartans by feats are a match for the average Space marine.

I throw my hat in with Cypher. That's a good choice.
