Whoa, so those are going to be made out of the Bones material now?

If so, that is really awesome!

So is this going to be in "hard bones" material? Can we expect bones-esque levels of stuff for our money?

If this gets Bones' level discounts, i'm going to go broke.... but i'll at least be able to build a small home to live in from all the stuff I get. ;-)

This could be quite evil. EVIL.

I want to be a part of it.

Is that (white) dwarf new? I don't recognize it. I do spywhat seems to be the Frogemoth in the background of one of those pictures though...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Make some SDE-compatible tiles out of this stuff - and I will throw a bunch of money right at your face. Hard.

Joking aside... if this has a cheaper "base pledge" price than a normal Reaper Bones KS... I have no illusions that I won't be buying several pledges worth. Insane. I've always wanted these kinds of dungeon tile products, but I want to own enough to make massive, 6'x4' covering dungeons for like, interior skirmish games, etc... Comparable products just haven't allowed that without dropping $500+, and even then, at KS prices.

This KS could wreck me.

Do we know what's in the base pledge?

It's all well and good saying it will be less than a Bones core set, but without knowing the content it's a rather meaningless statement.

I think the safe assumption is that it is what was pictured in their teaser.

Anyone else thinking that those flagstone floors look like a good enough approximation of a 1" grid?

I'm hoping the other tiles that were done in a different material will get a pvc rerelease. I'm also hoping we see some generic caverns or Dwarven or Dark Elf themed sets as well.

I do think the tiles look like they have approx 1" grids.. minus the rail tiles.. Very excited about this whole thing.

That's the intent, like the Dwarven Forge stuff. Basically its the standard 1 inch = 5 feet grid for D&D type games.

The Secret Weapon Miniatures "Tombs of the Dark Sun - Starter Set" can be used as 3D bling for your SDE tiles:

Sorry if a bit off topic, but I had recently bought some secretweaponsminiatures tablescapes and they were missing parts and had a wrong time in one of the sets. I shot MisterJustin an Email and got a response in minutes (MINUTES), and he shipped replacements out the next day (it was already after shipping hours that day. I just received my package from him and couldn't be more excited.

I wanted to pop in here and give a huge thumbs up because of the great service provided by SWM.

Thanks again Justin

Well their last FB post confirms that isn't the base pledge; it is made up of multiple smaller sets. Hopefully the value is there.

It's PVC plastic right? It should be a good price if so.

And I assume if it's PVC that means they won't be using Wargame Vault like the big tiles? I think something like this would be great in the "real" plastic we're all used to. You could probably fit a floor and several wall sections & other bits on 1 sprue.. or have separate floor and wall sprues, but they're designed to all snap together easily like legos.

Either way, looks great .. I loved my tablescapes even though I only ever got around to painting 4 whole tiles.

Wow, that is really, really exciting! I am glad I have a second kid, because I might have to sell one to afford all I want. Ooooh, I can use "Buying this for the girls to play with" as an excuse for buying a ton! Who needs a train table when you can have a modular dungeon table! Thomas the Tanar'ri!i

Who needs a doll house when you can have a troll cave is more appropriate. Of course when they bring home their first boyfriend and says "Isn't he just yummy?" You'll have to remind her that canniblism is generally frowned upon.

I'm going to attempt the "It's for the kids, honest" skill check as well. My wife unfortunately has a high resistance score, so it'll be tough.

My daughter loves playing with the Bones and Dungeon Saga scenery and all my (unpainted) GW terrain. I'm sure I can be talked into painting up the more interesting bits, and maybe giving the rest a quick color primer spray and calling it a day.

We'll see...
