Theres only one way to a titan that is 100% no recast. Buy it from Forgeworld directly and not from ebay.

Looks like a darker colour resin than FW themselves use, as well the tabs that say 'Forgeworld' aren't there so that's 2 warning signs for me.

It doesn't look like a great cast either, though that part could be legit FW.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

As above. The resin is a shade I've not seen in any of the FW models I've had, including a friends reaver, although that could be dodgy photography.

It's probably legitimate. The price is fairly close to retail, the seller's story about a failed commission sounds plausible, and they don't have an inventory of other FW models for sale like most recasters do. Of course, given that the pictures show broken parts and some ugly miscasts (that FW isn't going to replace since you aren't the original buyer), you might be better off paying a bit more and getting one direct from FW.

I wouldn't put too much confidence in those signs. It's hard to tell exactly what shade of gray the resin is since that depends heavily on the lighting and camera settings, and the seller mentions that it was a commission project that they started building so the parts have probably just been clipped off the blocks.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Both good points.

Are bubbles common in legitimate casts? The rim of the shoulder pad has a line of bubbles in it.

Yep. They are pretty common in FW resin.

Why would you buy a reaver titan of ebay for 680 when you can buy it for 50 more euros from FW?

My first warning sign is the following:
SOMEONE IS SELLING AN UNASSEMBLED REAVER TITAN

You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness.

For that price just buy it direct from FW. The only way i buy used FW (assuming its legit) is if its at least a 40% discount.

as others said you want to be able to get replacement parts etc.

In the Descriptions it says that the instructions are included, 25 sites.

So it has the instructions and the cast isn't very good this leads me to believe its a legit forgeworld.
