This is the first set of Marines I've painted. These guys are for a homebrew Mark of Tzeentch-flavor CSM supplement.

I came across this color scheme on accidentwhile kinda-sorta following directions for a White Scars youtube tutorial.

I know I'm not a very skilled painter, but is this color scheme dreadful or anything? I liked it alot at first, but have been staring at these dudes for so long while painting, I can no longer tell.

Real nice. I think that making your own chapters, and colour schemes is something that's not done quite as much as it should be in the hobby...you'll on occasion encounter purists who only go on what templates are provided by GW. Good on you

Thank you. So far, its really opened up a whole new way for me to enjoy the hobby.
