I'm new to the game, my friends introduced me to it they play tau and tyranids (i will just be playing with them to start).

Looks great. I would go for x2 bright lances or x2 scatter lasers on wraith lords, better to have 2 of the same weapon that two different with one of them twin linked.

Welcome to the hobby
The list looks quite good actually. I'm personally a fan of wraithlords with two brightlances for popping tanks etc. It might be worth it to make the dire avenger unit smaller to get BLs on the wraithlords and a cannon on the serpent. Or you can get rid of the rangers for the same thing and maybe get a couple more avengers.

Thank You for the adjustments Zavvy and ninjafiredragon. With the BLs and SLs i thought that because of the laser lock special rule i could get it on the Bright Lances. What do you think about only having 6 Dire Avengers to get the Shuriken Cannon, Do you think its alright. i guess there just there for holding objectives and to fill the wave serpent.
Also just out of interest can i put 2 different units in the 1 wave serpents like the rangers and the Dire Avengers (not going to just wondering). Automatically Appended Next Post: I think i will make those adjustments. Seems to be more positives than negatives. and one last question does the Farseer get to use his jet bike guns or does he only get his singing spear?

You can only put one unit (plus any attached Indepentant Characters) in a transport (unless it is Super Heavy or a Storm Raven).
The Farseer can choose either weapon to fire (catapults or spear), just remember he cannot use the spear to shoot and melee in the same turn (weapons with multiple profiles).

looks like a really fun list to play. The wraithlords look good. The reason people are saying to separate the bright lances and the scatter lasers is that while it is effective to twin link the bright lances, it is more effective to shoot both brightlances unlinked at a heavily armored target and both scatter lasers at a lighter armored target.
On that note a scatter laser might be worth it on the wraithknight to twinlink those heavy wraithcannons. Getting the most out of those wraithcannons will help you get the most out of the wraithknight, the extra 3 hits (on an average 6 turn game where the knight survives till the end) per game can be game changing. I'm not sure if the wraithlords need the ghostglaives, they look friggin cool but you already have ap2 without it just so you know. you can use the extra 10 points for crushing blow on the avatar who I think needs the +1 str a bit more than the wraithlords, thats not something everyone wold say though.

A Monstrous Creature can only fire 2 weapons per phase, so the Scatter Laser in this instance is exactly as deceptive as on a Brightlance Wraithlord. It's useful on a Suncannon WK though, since that only comes with one gun to begin with.

holo fields are a must on eldar tanks
The avatar is not doing much.
You are a little over saturated with large jetbike squads.
Rangers are meh, but have a place as back field objective holders, though your jetbikes for less points are much better at that.
My fixes:
I would remove the avatar and one or one and a half jetbike squads, and rangers. while splitting the other bike squads into two smaller ones, I would then add in a unit of warp spiders.
In addition I would do what has already been mentioned, in taking dual lances on lords, and dropping those dire avengers down to 5 models.

I disagree actually - I like the avatar. But I'd definitely go with the two bright lances on each wraithlord. If you're really worried about hitting stuff, you can just go guide/prescience with the farseer, and shoot all the things. Sure it'll take a little bit for the avatar to get into combat, but he'll have enough time. With the Wraithknight jetting around blowing stuff up and the constant barrage of fire from the wraithlords, who's going to waste time shooting at the avatar? No one. I think it's a really fun list. Suggestions - I have two: 1.) I don't think you're really invested enough into the psychic phase to make the farseer worth it. I'd run an autarch + jetbike + mantle of the laughing god and a laser lance. That way you have another mobile melee threat to back up your Wraithknight. With the changes to jink, i'm not sure a fusion gun is worth it anymore, but that's your call. 2.) I'd split the squads of bikes. You can do this because since you already have two HQ units. Use one to start a second detachment to get the extra troop slots. If you want to stick to one detachment, I'd still split one squad - and think about dropping the rangers to split a second squad. Whatever you decide, it looks like a fun list. You might even end up with more monstrous creatures on the board than your tyranid friend, and that's something an eldar player doesn't get to say very often.

My bad, forgot about that, I havent used the wraithknight yet.
Another thing about the list is that there isn't much point bring 6 jetbikes in a squad if you aren't going to put two cannons in it. I'd drop them to 5 if you are going to keep one cannon per squad. You could drop 2 avengers and a ghostglaive to get points for 3 more shuriken cannons. I also like the avatar in this list. If you march him up the field with the wraithlords I just see them killing whatever is infront of them

I would look at picking up a second Exarch Power on the Avatar.
- Disarming Strike: This can greatly aid the close combat durability of your Avatar, and with the overflow wounds in 7th being in a Challenge is not a bad place to be for him. When you are up against a Shield Eternal Space Marine Chapter Master, turning his Thunder Hammer off may just give the Avatar the advantage he needs to win the fight.
- Crushing Blow: +1 Strength is important for monstrous creatures now that the Smash Attack has been nerfed severely. In Duels with other Monsters the extra point of Strength will be a huge boon to the Avatar's killing ability.
