So for a Thousand Sons collector what is the ultimate centerpiece for an Apocalypse game as per Thousand Sons fluff?

Obviously the Silver Tower is a great supporting unit giving a 4+ cover save to your super heavy but at only 2 structure points its hardly a centerpiece.

Is it:
Aetaos’Rau’Keres the greater Lord of Change?
Some sort of stolen super heavy tank like a baneblade?
A reaver or warhound titan gifted from the Dark Mechanicus?
Something else?

Thanks in advance!

Warhound titan, the Thousand Sons had psykers during the Heresy who could control Legio Cybernetica constructs, and even possessed the body of a Warhound titan during the Burning of Prospero.

Ah, that's right! It was the leader of the pyro cult who did that, yes? Great to hear!

He did combust as a result of it though haha. A titan could be very cool though.

Or you could try your hand at an appropriately large version of Magnus as a Daemon Primarch. Don't know how that would work with rules and all though.

That would require something resembling an advancing plot for the big bad traitor primarchs to be on the front lines.

Actually, I agree and Magnus should totally get a 40K figure. The other (living) primarchs, too.

It's also cool having them as mysterious entities in the background, knowing that their power very well could destroy the Imperium but they are choosing to avoid it for some reason or another.

Bringing them into the game as common figures would strip a lot of their power/weight away I think.

They where still a space marine legion so it should be they have some of the old hardware, weaponry and maybe the odd old titan transported from when they got telaported.

So could have anything the legions equipped with.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

The titan blew up and crashed into a building, so that's gone. It was made a huge deal out of, so I think if there were more titans they would have been at least mentioned.

The feeling I got from the teleportation spell is that few vehicles at all were saved. I think better fluff for taking super heavies are for ones acquired afterwards

There HQ planet would not be only force they have out, pulling 100% of your man power to one planet?

Other fleets deployed would still have armour, yes fleets at prospero would be blasted to ruin by wolves but they surely had other fleets out in the galexy.

Say brought by a lost old fleet that limped its way back to magnus new home quided by there primarch? Say a outer patrol fleet that was too far to aid them so survived the assult by Russ, custodious and other impirial forces.

Don't Forget about the towers of tzeentch...basically they were floating cities that housed Psych's and used their combined focused power to unleash devastating blasts across the battlefield.

I was planning to use a transcendent ctans rules to represent magnus in apoc. You could also use the rules for the tesseract vaults to represent the silver towers since the rules for the silver towers are ancient at this point.
