Hey guys,

Is there a special rule for grenades or flamers vs fortifications such as bastion ?
I think I read something special for the units inside, but I can't find it again.

Moreover, in case of assaut vs a bastion, which weapon can fire vs attackers ? The heavy bolter ? The turret on the top ? Nothing, like a vehicle ?

Thanks for your help on clarification

No, the special rules for attacking buildings with Template weapons and Grenades were all removed in 7th edition. Units inside buildings are basically immune to everything except attacks against the building itself. The best you can do with template weapons is attack units who are standing on battlements.

Check out "no escape", page 173

In short Daniel is incorrect, although it has moved position, so is easy to miss.

Or under Template Weapons in the special rule section. (for those of us with ebooks)

Cool, I had no idea about that rule (why isn't it in the building or vehicle section??). So I guess you CAN still roast dudes inside a building

If it were in those sections, they would have to repeat the rule. as it is, it is a rile of the weapon type, so correctly placed.

One more question: may the same unit inside a bastion use the heavy bolters + the turret on the top? Or are they 2 differents "locations"?

The weapon on top is an Emplaced Weapon, so must be fired by a model Embarking inside the building.
Models on the Battlements may not fire the weapon, even if in base-to-base with it.
