What is this game? I've never seen it before. Is it like a miniature game exactly like Star Wars?

To quote FFG themselves "Fast and visceral, X-Wing puts you in the middle of fierce Star Wars firefights".
It's a dogfighting game set in the Star Wars universe that seems to follow and draw on the fictional universe fairly well.

There's also games shown on YouTube where you can see how its played, the world championship games are pretty good in my opinion.
