Finally 98% finished magnetization before prime and paint etc. I figure I share this with people on how I am getting this Hellbrute magnetized.

Need to add one more set of magnets for the left powerfist/combi bolter the plates will be swappable. Add some greenstuff sand down prime/paint etc.

So getting fed up with some of the parts. I think I have it ready for paint. I even took the time to use some of the hoses to keep them so they rest on the model. I attacked the hoses to the arms but, not the body. After some brainstorming about what to do with some of the big blank spots that some hoses I did not use for this magnetization project. Some toothpicks and green stuff and we are good to go.

There are multiple arm variants and I did not post all weapons. Enjoy my WIP.

Nice man, magnetizing can be a real pain. You really went all out on turning the model into a legit playset.

The mecha-tentacle arm looks intense.

Thank You so much yeah I have been hell-bent on saving money and getting the most bang for buck out of the bigger minis. I already have a Mauler/Forgefiend and a 2nd one in the works. Now I need 2 more Hellbrutes. May end up getting a Forgeword World Eater just to break up the looks a bit.

"It's been a while since my last post. So here is some updated pics of my WIP. I've got several other things. I am working on ATM not to mention it has been really busy at work.

I did some painting of the skin and some other minor stuff.

Did you have to buy arms from bits suppliers or is this all done with just the contents in the box? Talk about maximizing a kit! I was thinking about doing this, but I'm def going to do it now that I've seen it done! Awesome work.

Thanks for the compliment. As I said WIP long way off from finished.

I ordered extra bits online. Shoulder/ Arms parts are what you need extra of in order to make the melee armaments. The Weapons you just need to know were to put the magnets and it's fairly simple. The hardest part was seeing what bits I wanted and aligning the tubes and deciding were to attach them to. I also added some greenstuff tubes to added some variety and toothpick spikes lol. That is always my goal to maximize a kit.

The only other piece of advice I could give is since you're going all out on this, make sure to get rid of those mold lines! I'll definitely keep watching. And use your images as a guide for magnetizing my Nurgle Helbrute when I get to it.

Yeah most mold lines I catch but, sometimes I just don't care enough to waste time on them when they aren't to bad. Though I think I may have missed a few with this one because I took so much time with applying the magnets lol.Though in the future I will keep and eye on doing that. I have 2 more brutes to build to have a complete Mayhem Pack.

So I got him almost finished. Needs some more highlights and a wash or 2. Weathering then Basing and Banner painted/weathered..
