I definitely agree with you on that. I've been wanting an updated 2142 for a loooong time. I hope so much that Battlefront 3 doesn't get screwed up...

Get Defiance, it is free (on PS3 at least)
What i like about BF3 (haven't got BF4 yet) is that i can help my team even if i am a mediocre player. i am usually an engineer in a helicopter or tank repairing and gunning while my team mate is eviscerating the other team
