I have noticed that a venerable Dread has the deathwing vehicle, but not the deathwing assault special rule. I actually think deathwing assault fits this model better rather than making it a deathwing vehicle.

What's the common thought here? Objectively speaking I think it makes more sense.

You could just lose the Deathwing Vehicle and make it Deathwing assault.

A Dreadnought has no way to Deep Strike by its self so it cant have Deathwing Assault. it doesn't make much sense to me for it to have Deathwing Assault because fluff wise its terminators deep striking to where the fallen are.

The dread has the deep strike special rule. I always understood this to coincide like a terminator does, through some equipment internally or otherwise.

Where does it have the Deep Strike Rule other than with a Drop Pod.
