Is there a database of all WH40K weapons ?

I really don't want to make one, so if there is already one, I'd very much like to take a look at it.

Would it be available in the vassal files for example ?

Edit: looked at the Vassal files, a total mess and weapons I could not find.

Edit: looked at the BattleScribe files, really dirty XML but usable after a good deal of massaging.

If you just want the stats, they're all in the back of the rulebook. If you wanted them digitally, I've no idea.

The 6th edition rulebook had that, 7th edition doesn't (it has only a very small portion of the weapons).

So what happens when a codex references the rulebook for the weapons/wargear that isn't there?

You then proceed to buy a digital format dataslate for the weapon they reference.

I dont know, but have you seen how many books and dataslates there are on itunes? Like more than 50 maybe..

Automatically Appended Next Post:
It seems like they are gonna sell us one dataslate oer unit in the whole game.
And it all costs..

How exactly do these data slate things work? Are they like a pdf you print?

About the dataslates.
I bought the helbrute one.
Ipad edition.

It is around 15 pages.
A little lore.
Three formations, and their rules.
A few pictures of painted ones.

It is all in all exactly 3 pages you actually use, one for each formation.
It describes how the formation works, and its rules.

If you want to take a formation you must have it almost like an allied force, but it doesnt take up any FOC or CAD slots or allied slots.

Step 1: Get a catz datafile from <user folder> /BattleScribe/data/Warhammer 40,000 7th Edition

Step 2: Shove it in WinRAR to remove the z

Step 3: Open that .cat file in Notepad++

Step 4: Remove the empty nodes with a regex replace all \n\s+<[^ >]+\/>

Step 5: Convert to JSON using http://www.freeformatter.com/xml-to-json-converter.html#ad-output

Congratulations, you now have a very horrible json file... next time, how to put that in a warpcore.io database using a proper data model.
