Subject: 28mm WW2 Axis Figures? (other than Germany, Italy, and Japan)

Mad Bob Miniatures just started a KS for some very lovely Hungarian tanks in 28mm:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/454980184/hungarian-tanks-from-mad-bob-miniatures
I am definitely down for some of these beauties. Does anyone know a source for 28mm WW2 Hungarian infantry? I did not come across promising leads while Googling; the common suggestion seems to be to use WW1 Germans, which I dunno ... I read some of the 'cons' of that approach and it's just the sort of thing to bother me. So any leads would be appreciated.
While we're at it, does anyone know of some good Romanian and Bulgarian stuff in 28mm? I know there was recently a KS for Finnish models, although the name escapes me. How about other Axis-allied militaries?

This may be relevant to some folks around here, especially if you backed the Winter War KS. Mad Bob's 5500 GBP stretch goal for the Hungarian Tanks KS is a Landsverk L-62 turret option for the Nimrod.

Outpost Miniatures has a small selection of 28mm Romanian infantry and light support weapons. That's the only source of 28mm Romanians that I'm aware of (and I've looked in the past).
I've also seen listings for some appropriately-scaled Romanian tank destroyers. But none of them seem to be available at the moment. And I'm not aware of anyone who makes a 45mm gun barrel for the R35 tank.

Thanks for the heads up! I see Outpost lists their Romanians as commissioned. They look pretty good considering.

It looks like the 9K stretch goal for the Hungarian Tank kickstarter will be a Romanian TACAM R2 tank destroyer. The next two stretch goals are also Romanian-themed - a French-designed UE Carrier, and a Czech-built Panzer 35(t). But both vehicles are easily available through other sources, unlike the TACAM.

From my understanding, Hungarian troops can be converted by modifying German infantry. Certain items of kit, mainly the gasmask container and mess kit would need to go, but other than that they're close enough to work. You could probably convert any plastic line that has the kit as a seperate piece to the torso with a little work. It's what I've been thinking about doing.

Zvezda also has some Romanians available in plastic. But the box only contains four figures, including one figure with an LMG.

Those are roughly 20mm though. Zvezda uses different scaling for their Art of Tactic series (1/144 planes, 1/100 tanks, 1/72 infantry/support weapons)

IIRC Hungary used German uniforms for at least some of their troops, could just use Germans with Hungarian markings.

He's been ferried through hell on a ship that's ten thousand years old to some godforsaken, war-torn rock; He is one of ten million men snatched from his home to fight a war he barely understands; He wages war against devouring hiveminds, ravenous demons and hordes of hyper-advanced aliens with strange technologies and sorceries he never dreamed existed; no one will remember his sacrifice, there will be no records of his deeds, no glorious parades in his honor, and no remembrance of his name. All he will earn is a shallow, unmarked grave on a forgotten world untold lightyears from home.
Yet for all this thankless sacrifice a Guardsman is a man, just like you. He has no millennia-old genetic engineering, no prophetic leader, no miracles of faith. He has his lasgun, his orders, and those beside him. He is the Imperial Guard.
And he will hold the line.
