Was doodling around with this list for 500 points and this is what I came up with
HQ Deathleaper
=130
Troops Genestealers x5
-Broodlord
=130
Warriors x3
-Barbed Strangler
=100
Heavy Support Mawloc
=140
Total=500
I'm using this for a fun list against my friends Tau who is intent on running a Buffmander with some drones, so I'm thinking using Broodlord and Warriors to pin his warriors or his Deathstar, and turn two have the Mawloc Deepstrike on top and render his Deathstar useless, with a Deathleaper to ensure an accurate hit.
Would much prefer to field a Flyrant and Hive Crone, but my friend is specifically saying 'No Flyers or FMCs'...and I'd like to take this challenge, even if he is attempting to run a competitive list against me.

Looks like fun! But if Tau guy is specificly asking for no fliers, I suspect you'll find he took intersept on something... And Monster Hunter on a buffmander. Just human nature I suppose.
Oh yes, definitely, the current record between us is 4:1 to me If I was allowed to bring anything, a Flyrant would definitely be in the cards, along with a Hive Crone for a nice little Template
