Now I did some looking around the internet and stuff of fluff from old post and information seems to always mention of number attached to each chaos god.
Tzeentch 9
Khorne 8
Nurgle 7
Slaanesh 6
Apparently its there age as some people say and others say its part of summoning daemons of that type because if this is so do daemons of chaos follow the rules of units being in those units or is it really olny applied to warriors of chaos from a old peace of fluff to summon daemons by the corresponding god if so should I build my army around the number as i do enjoy very fluffy armys.

I know in the holy days of the csm 3.5 you used to get bonuses for fielding in the number of the gods. Although it hasn't appeared in game terms for many years, I've just flicked through my hordes of Chaos book and there is no mention of it.
As for why the numbers are specific? No one really knows. Althoogh you tend to see the numbers pop up again and again.
Curiously, if you believe in Malal, his number is 11.

In the dark and distant past of two tomes entitled Realms of Chaos - the Chaos Powers had sacred numbers that applied to their units and various other aspects
It was a nice idea

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

The number 8 is the number of Khorne because it looks a bit like Khorne's symbol right?.
Read that up somewhere IIRC

If I recall, it was Tzeentch that somehow either created or heavily influenced the sacred numbers, and they were assigned (at the time) based on his alliances.
Tzeentch took 9 because he wanted to be second to none.
Khorne was given 8 for reasons I don't remember.
Nurgle was given 7 because of the rivalry with Tzeentch, to put him last in the pantheon.
Slaanesh was given 6 by default since he/she was last to the party, and Tzeenth wasn't about to give out a 10.

I have not heard that before, but it is interesting. Do you have a source?

Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7, 8 (ate), 9!
Seriously though if it's that childish joke i've lost faith in GW but then i never really had it ;P.
