So based on some rumors, I believe Blood Angels will be the next codex, followed by Dark Eldar. What do you guys think will be the next codex following those, and the likely hood of a new Dark Angels codex in the coming year?

The next releases after Space Hulk are a boxed set of plastic Wracks and a clam-pack Haemoculus, so I'd be very surprised if a Dark Eldar codex wasn't released within a month.

Yeah, DE should be next and then there will only be two non-hardcover codices left: BA and Necrons.

Don't forget SoB only have a digital codex. Though only the God Emperor know's what's going to happen to the Sisters.

Indeed, SoB should have a hardcover codex as well.
Not sure what GW is thinking here?

DE are next after the leaks of the next white dwarf.

Blood Angels will probably follow after the chaos release supposedly happening in the End of Times fantasy stuff.

Necrons - probably 2015.

Anything else is pure speculation.

After they introduced more and more dataslates like the one for the Assassins I think it might be possible that SoB get something similar. I have never seen SoB models in a GW store (or in a FLGS) so they might decide they do not want to produce merchandise that is physically occupying shelf space and will not allow interested people to pick up boxes. I assume they consider SoB a specialist army for people who are ordering online only, anyway.

Eldar
Necron
Chaos Space Marines
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights
Death Guard

Ironically, the only reason why people order them online is because they are not in stores.

Talking about the hen and the egg Well I think shelf space and produced merchandise were a limiting factor for GW in the past. If they find their Assassin dataslate is gakky they can immediately publish an updated one and nobody will complain as long as he can download the new version from his black library account. With the printed thing they had to wait until a specific percentage of the printed stock had been sold. Else a new Codex would not mean making more money, but instead it meant losing the money invested in the old Codex.

Digital goods ftw.

It's pretty much been confirmed that Dark Eldar will be up for pre-order tomorrow or Saturday, being released next week. After that, Blood Angels, then Necrons. After that, come summer of next year, they will supposedly start revamping the 6th ed. Hardbacks, Chaos Space Marines most likely being the first.

You're more likely to see a full SOB release than squats

As much, as I would love to see the return of Squats, I would concur with the following above statement wholeheartedly. I would love to be able field loads of Squat Infantry, Squat Armor, and Squat Artillery. They would make perfect allies for the Glorious Sentinels.

Cowards will be shot! Survivors will be shot again!

I use mine as Inquisitors. Works great!

For the greater glory of the Zoat Empire!
