Hi to the community, i was wondering if it worth a deal a friend of mine is making, he is selling me 5 stormtroopers, the old ones (not the karskin), painteds as inquisitorial stormtroopers, they are 5, one have a melta gun; he wants like 25 dls for them, but i dont so sure about the prices, could the comunity give me some advice, if i should buy it?

1 - How good are they painted? - I'd say $20 if they were low table top quality.
2 - yeah that's not a bad price considering that a box of the new plastic storm troopers are $35 for a box of 5.

Even when the Karskins I think it was around 10-15$ for a blister of 2 special weapons.

Its aight... I paid what... 20 bucks for mine, unpainted and all, but no special weapons.

Considering that metal is easy to strip and that they're now OOP. And hey, its still cheaper than 5 scions

$20 would be the top price I would pay. I honestly think $2 - $3 is the real value. Even in the last three years that has been the going rate on places like Bartertown. I bought and sold 22 classic storm troopers for less than $45.

I'd pay half price. Also ,the old Inquisitorial Storm Troopers are a huge money savers. i realized that with the guns they carry, i can make the Inquisitorial ones the Hot shot volley guns and my Kasrkins with Hellguns become my Scions.

So they are actually good as special weapons.

That's what I do, 4 of them are part of the Command Squad and they all have Volley guns, they pack quite the punch for such a small squad.

Thanks for all the advice, i was cheking on ebay the cost, and i find a pack of only two (this one are karskin) with hotshot guns, with a very bad paint job, in about 4.49 gbp, what about this bundle? i keep thinking on them jeje, i want them to play it as acolytes with my xenos inquisitor, to camp objetives.
Well i want too, to make an allied tempestus detachment to my space wolves, and i was thinking to buy a box of scions and a box of cadia shock troopers. But what would recomend me, to keep looking for the metal stoormtroopers or went for the bundle of scions and shock troopers?

I personally dont like the new prices better than the old prices so if i can I buy the older models. Plus the Kasrkin models rock anyways.
