Let's talk models.

The models look nice for a lot of races and they're super cool. Do you have that one model you don't like though? Discuss it here yo.

For instance, I like Space Marines. Their lore is cool and let's you do whatever you want with them... but they look like toys. Compared to what space marines look like in the lore (IE: http://i.imgur.com/R3eefHK.jpg ) versus what their models look like ( http://i.imgur.com/lRpjrhP.jpg ) The models look much more... Silly.

It's like their chests need to be a bit bigger and their heads smaller. Who knows.

Their arms need to be shorter and their legs/torsos longer. Fixes most of their scale issues pretty quickly.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Oh that's a thing that should happen too. They need to look more like humans.

Space Marines look boring in the standard bolter-hugging pose, but with use of the other bits in the kit (scanners, combat knives, bolt pistols ect) you can really make them look dynamic, and at that point, is say they look better than any other 40k army.

My main issue is the Imperial Guard models. To tall, too bulky, too much like gorillas! SM don't need biggening, Guard need smallering!

True. Some FW books picture Space Marines like that, actually.

Also, notice the smaller shoulder pads. Still impractical, but a tad more believable IMHO.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
