Doesn't look like something i'd want to play against...Very unfriendly list there, lol. I seriously can't think of a whole lot that could defeat this easily...Maybe all jetbikes? How do you think you'd fare against a white scars list with all that jink? Also don't see a lot of objective grabbers on your list. If I were playing against it I'd target all your troops choices first and try to eliminate them so you couldn't grab objectives and win, but you're bringing a whole crap-load of kill there. You could table a lot of people with this list. This is why I don't like playing drop pods. When you face something like this and only half your army comes you're in a lot of trouble.

Well, the troops are semi-protected in there razorbacks, who with there lascannons will not be venturing out into the middle of the board, but rather forming a giant gunline with the predators and TFC's. If you want to try and pop the razorbacks to kill the tacs inside you'll need to be ignoring the real power pieces of the gunline. If you fail, and the list basically plans on it, the razorbacks can eventually flat out to grab last minute objectives. The flyers are anti-flyer, anti-horde, anti-if you don't have dedicated AA 4 stormtalons with 7 shots a piece are going to rock you.

One weakness would be drop podded sternguard with melta, they could pop the razorbacks, decimate the tacs and I'd be SoL at that point for scoring. Though I would probably go on to table them. I don't think this list is great against everything, but if you have a decent read on your local metagame it could perform incredibly well.

Not to mention that IH is giving all the vehicles and HQ's It WIll Not Die as well as FnP to the ground units. The CT give them some much needed durability.

Right, it's a nasty nasty list I agree. How would you play bikes? Getting to only shoot at one combat bike squad with each of those predators is going to severely limit your damage potential there, as well as them still getting that jink save will be nasty. I see that the thunderfires can take care of the jink though, so it could still go either way. Facing 35 bikes at 2K points is definitely not unheard of, and you're likely going to get to see an unkillable monster chapter master surrounded by bikes with eternal warrior and a TH and Shield eternal popping big things each turn. Please keep in mind, I'm not saying your list isn't fantastic, I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I'd like to know how you'd deal with them, and if you think you could put a big enough dent in a bikes army to survive the turn they get to fire to the most effect.

Bikes would suck, no denying it, I think the stormtalons would be a huge problem for them though, especially if they didn't have there own.

Also who is firing the tfcannons and at 2k you dont have many troops at all

Purposely don't have a lot of troops, the list is attacking at a very specific angle. The TFC's have a techmarine gunner automatically. Where in the rulebook does it say you can't run two combined arms detachments?

What ya mean no double force org.

you can multiple combined arms detachment as many times as you please even with the same faction (Space marines)

The only thing you cannot is allies which must always be a different faction (I.e imperial guard or space marines which are able too because space marines)

Secondly every single razorback is scoring so you technically have a TON of objective securing razorbacks. (also everything technically scores)

Also TFC for 100 comes with both the cannon and a techmarine gunner.

Possible, but it's not as though the list lacks firepower, and I'd like to keep him inside the razorback to combine with It Will Not Die to make it difficult to destroy, giving one of my ObSec units a lot of lasting power; and thus if he is inside the razorback, which doesn't have any fire access points, the beamer would be wasted.

I agree it's a really cool gun, although I think the second mode on it should be str 8 ap 3, that ap 4 is what really kills it for me. Obviously the str 10 ap 1 is amazing, but with a minimum range requirement of 48 inches, your opponent can move all his guys in a little and shut it off, and with most of his shots clocking in at str 8 ap 4, thus no longer bypassing meq armor saves, the 20 points is kinda wasted in my opinon, also considering how truly badass the servo harness is for free, flamer, plasma pistol, and essentially 2 dreadnought claws is insane.

What about an aegis and comma relay to make sure those talons come on all at once? That's gonna be your best bet against a Skyblight or flying demon list I'd imagine.
