Can anyone tell me if the Deff Arsenal, Krusha-ball, belly gun, lifta-droppa and the klaw stompa are still around as of the latest edition of 40k or if they have been removed ?
Also anyone who has a stompa with these upgrades, how well do they work on the table ?
Also, how is the stompa mob formation ?

While Dakka is not a replacment for the rule book Ill try to answer.
Some of special upgrades for the stompa you mention are gone. They were in a WD when APOC 1 or 1.5 came out.
Some are in IA books or in the codex.
How do they work in a current game?? No idea. I dont have the 2014 Ork Codex or the 2014 40k Rule books yet.
Stompa mob formation?? I had 4 stompas at one point. 1 built and 3 NOS or bit form. Kept the built one and sold the others. So no idea again. Sorry.

Lifta droppa got worse. I would avoid it.
I would always add a couple of the helstorm flamers to a kustom stompa though. Such a sick weapon!

This isn't much of a "buy the rulebook" issue, it's more a case of "are these rules still valid under the current set?". They're an older version, but I can't see why anyone would complain about using them.

Gone. I think they still exist in Imperial Armor though.

Didn't the Kustom and big mek stompa make it onto the approved Forge World LOW list though?

I think IA8 Raid on Kastorel Novem has most of those rules but they are not 7th ed.
