What is the best "variety pack" tray combo?

I'm planning to store deadzone and ork models so I have a pretty good variety of regualr 25mm based troops, oddly shaped 25mm based troops, 40mm based troops and a number of walkers. Less concerned about getting vehicles and walkers in to cases at this time though.

Thanks for any advice!

Skinnereal - many thanks for taking the time to do the list, I think you are spot on, and they are on the list of improvements to make. The "coming soon" is a feature I used to have on there (and on the newsletter), but with the workload of late it has taken a back seat. With the new staff hires (mentioned earlier) bits like that will get sorted out and added again, which will be good all round. Appreciate your additional comments too, we try our best even with a growing team!

Lukez - best tray set would be:
V5H - 4 walkers (pick&pluck)
F3H - 18 large 25mm troops
D2H - 12-15 40mm based troops (pick&pluck)
2x N4H - 40 regular 25mm troops

That all fits into 1 standard size case, if you get in in time for the offer just do the same set of trays for your free case,

Just made my first KR purchase!
I'm getting the Kaiser 2.
I went with the following loadout:
Case 1: 2x M4T, V2T
Case 2: F3H, M3H, V5T
Free Case: IG23 (Imperial Knight), DA3 (Sammael and bikes), F3H (18 terminators or equivalent)

I would suggest the following video, it helps explain KR's letter/number codes a bit:

You'll like the Kaiser II, I was really happy with mine. Nice case with lots of pockets

Eh, work takes time, and time is money. Getting the orders out is more important, as long as they keep coming in.

Finally ordered a Kaiser 1 yesterday It got MUCH easier once I realized that you can mouse over the trays to see their size in fractions (2/3, 1/2 etc). So I just had two tabs, one with core trays and one with the custom trays for my army, and put together a text document with columns for four case "halves" that I filled out. Still, glad to hear this process will get easier in the future

edit: Why does the Dakka smiley convey smugness? Doesn't seem to fit the emoticon at all.

That answers most of my points. If only I'd have known that before.
Thanks for pointing it out.

It really should be the default value shown, after all I don't really care how high they are in mm, only how much of the case they take up.

I care how high they are in mm to make sure i can fit my models in them. ordering a cav tray that only fits the horse for example is no good to me.

Got my Kaiser 1 through my local game store today. Looks good and decent quality. Considerd the Kaiser 2 but £80 just seemed like too much for a carry case.

Many thanks for posting the video, it is really helpful, this page helps too on tray codes - http://krmulticase.com/resources/traysizes.aspx

The trays all have a depth in mm quoted with them, and that is the compartment depth as that is the one which is most important. If you want to put a horse in there you want to know the compartment depth, not the external tray depth as that will include the tray base. That said, with the soft bases on KR trays you can have models sticking out 5-6mm or more with no damage as the soft base simply moves out of the way, completely protecting your models (and meaning you can put more models in a case), that is why the KR system with soft tray bases ensures you can carry more figures per £/$/€ spent

The 10 year anniversary offer has now ended, and it is really great to see how successful it has been. And how many of you took advantage of it. The order level, especially in the last few days of the offer was higher than anticipated, and as such we have a backlog of orders to ship. Our aim, by using overtime and additional staff is that we can get them all sent out by the end of next week. Please bear with us whilst we catch up and get back to our usual dispatch times of shipping within 1 working day.

Yeah I have Wraithguard on scenic bases sticking out almost a cm upwards in my KR case, none of their little decorative head thingies have fallen off or taken any damage.
