How do people find the citadel coloured sprays to be?

Do they match up well to the regular paint pots?

In my limited experience, they are great. They are the exact same colors as what you'd get in a pot.

I wish you could get them in Canada. I've always wanted to try them, but they're not available here.

If GW ever made an airbrush range with droppers, I'd buy the whole set the day it came out

Though not sure of the current batch, i thought there first set was a terrible color match (at least what iv heard of the reds)

If you can consider army painter set as they have color matchs to there sprays as well.

The AP paints are a little different though -- they are primers and quite thick, and painting the first coat on them is like trying to paint over satin varnish. It's a godsend for bulk painting, but I wouldn't use it to basecoat a model that I wanted to give my all, or an expensive model.

I was kind of hoping GW spray paints would yield results closer to airbrush application.

It is still an aerosol paint. not even a primer

and has all the issues of spray priming (humidity and stuff)

So you can get a decent coat but if you dont do it right it can come out realllly bad.

a friend of mine used red on his eldar and there is nothing but bubbles.

Its possible it was a bad batch so dont get older ones

Hmm, maybe it was just the red? So far I've used Caliban Green and Macragge Blue and found they were both matches for the pot colors. A friend I know who's doing Space Wolves said their The Fang spray was a match as well.

My only experience with them was using both the spray and pot of shadow grey to do up some Space Wolves.
The paint pot color was very slightly lighter than the spray can but not so noticeable to ruin it.
They werent however 100% a match.
