Here is my Austrican (from Relic Knights). I really love this mini- very characterful. I was glad at the harsh lines on his face- that gave me plenty of room to make high contrast areas across his face. Otherwise, this color scheme is designed to match the Sebastian Cross I did before.

I also posted him to Coolmini for anyone who cares to vote.

I'm a fan. That guy's face is so expressive, too. And the purple armor there is just, well I mean. It's really good. I have nothing I can say other than wow.

Thanks. I love how the face is sculpted, so I felt I had a lot to work with this time.

There is such smooth blending and vibrant colors used on this model that it almost looks cel-shaded. Brilliant work! My eye keeps being drawn to the large blue gem on this guy's chest. Some of the finest gem work I've seen on a mini!

Awesome work. The highlights are dead on, the gold and blue gems work together well.

Only thing throwing it off for me is the armor on the left arm. Not sure what it is about it that just looks "off" to me.

I'm not sure what it is on his arm, but if it helps, I had some trouble painting it (the light from above just didn't seem to hit it in any way that was interesting).

Thanks.

I was definitely going for 'cell shaded' on him. One of the things I did on all my Sodapop minis is line them in pure black. To me, stark lining tends to adds a sort of comic book effect.
