I believe so... the League itself, alonside the PGA, NBA, and
IIRC, MLB are all registered as Non-Profit organizations. However, I do believe that individual team owners are responsible for their own taxes (unless they are also, somehow considered non-profits). I would imagine that the revenue sharing that most leagues have now allow some teams to pay "less" than they otherwise would, while some teams might pay more than they otherwise would.
