Hey guys.

since I inform myself about imperial fluff, there is something that I don't understand I guess. A regiment follows a certain doctrine, may it be armoured or light and stuff... And the guard works throu mutual help of different regiments. So why does the 412th has everything ? They got superheavies and tank companies with the 412th as insigna. Is the 412th composed of different regiment who melted together ?

Because it's a video game. There's lots of things that don't make any sense from a fluff perspective.

(Such as Gabriel Angelos' statement that the command of a Space Marine Chapter is not within an Inquisitor's remit. It most certainly is.)

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

His statement is supported by the Space Marine codex, though.

Look at the Chapter Master entry.

I chalk it up to adaptation. Besides, Sturnn's Commissar adjutant explains that hundreds of troops were killed on planetfall and thousands more were wounded. Since most Cadian regiments seem to operate between 8000-10000 troops (just my guess going by the size of the Cadian 8th), that would have killed the entire regiment in its first engagement on Lorn IV.

More likely, the 412th is just Sturnn's personal regiment, while he is in fact controlling a much larger force of numerous Cadian divisions.

Think of something clever to say.

Space Marines are "within" an Inquisitor's remit, but given their extremely enhanced ability to resist and need to remain independent, the Inquisition generally steps back from treating them like any other Imperial subject.

There have been plenty of examples where that wasn't the case though, where compliance was sought from them by Inquisitors. Didn't always end well for the Inquisition either.

Which is probably why there is an entire minor Ordo dedicated to watching the cheeky buggers IIRC.

Search & Destroy:
Inquisitor Ferenz Talan and his acolytes follow Colonel Mieza and the 16th Berdam Armoured back to their home system, in the hopes of rallying troops for a crusade against the Tau for their defeat on Falasten. However, upon arrival, they find that others have their eyes on the system.

well regiments arent 100% pure tanks or infantry , so in game guardsmen or tanks are a minority, that happens because its a large regiments, the smaller are pure reiments ,the biger ...not

but remeber that game couldnt be 100% realistic, if ig were only infantry it would be less fun
