my good buddy has been running the table against all comers with his necron chariot. anyone have any counters for it? i play IG, and am thinking demolishers on some advice from people i trust. what do you all think?

Exactly. Any 12+ wound fearless or pseudo-fearless tarpitting squad will do the trick. A bargelord that is locked in combat has a low damage output.

Due to template allocation against chariots, a manticore has a decent chance of knocking one down at range. But as was said above, tarpiting is probably your best option.

Really it depends on if you are playing the 3++ as being on the AV13 or not. If you are not pask punisher, lascannons, medusa artillery carriages, or rapier battery will all work well.

If you cannot realistically kill it with any ease you can use several bubble wrap units and trap the barge in a combat. Honestly tarpiting it in a specific unit will be mostly impossible due it being a skimmer but if you don't have a few assault speed bumps in your list you have bigger troubles.
