Built a list for friendly games with a 'no flyers' rule; meaning no flying monstrous creatures or regular flyers~
Wanted to try out as much devourer-spam as I could, whilst still having the ability to deal with higher AV / other monsters

Troops:
10x Termagants (40)
10x Termagants (40)

Heavy:
1x Carnifex with crushing claws and regen (165)
1x Carnifex with crushing claws and regen (165)

Bioblast Formation:
3x Warriors with barbed strangler (100)
1x Carnifex with two devs and regen (180)
1x Carnifex with two devs and regen (180)
1x Carnifex with two devs and regen (180)
1x Tyrannofex with rupture cannon and regen (235)

Personally, too little troops for my taste But looks doable all the same! I always find Living Artillery to be a great formation..

Also what armies will you be playing against?

I agree, I'd dump most of the Regen, and buy some more Troops. You're also very short on Synapse, so some Warrior Broods might be just the ticket.

Ooh okay, I wasn't sure if regeneration would be worth it on all the big bugs~

Main armies I come up against are Salamanders, CSM, Dark Eldar and 30k Iron Warriors.

EDIT: I did play a game against CSM, absolutely wrecked them (he didn't bring enough to deal with all the MCs). The two gaunt groups stayed somewhat back whilst the warriors held the formation in front, and their synapse barely just reach a stringed out gaunt group. He did manage to kill the warriors with DS obliterators, was not happy , but by then it was pretty much over.

Also I love the Tyrannofex's range, and immobilizing a rhino in the first turn is always nice

Yeah, a Brood of Warriors, or a Zoanthrope (or two) will give you a nice boost of Synapse, and Warriors are Troops. If all you do is dump the Regen...that frees up ...ummm...120 points? That should let you grab a Warrior Brood, x3, Strangle Cannon for 100. Or a pair of Zoeys. The Zoeys can provide Warp charges, and Powers of the Hive Mind! to boost the Big Bugs, and they come with Dominion so you can boost Synapse when needed.

Okay, thanks everyone for suggestions and stuff
Here's the modified list~ I actually had a lot of points in regeneration (210!); I figure if I can get the feel no pain power on any of my psykers, it'd be better for my big bugs but also can help the warriors out!

HQ:
Hive Tyrant with two devs (195)

Troops:
3x Warriors with barbed strangler (100)
3x Warriors (90)

Elites:
1x Zoanthrope (50)
1x Zoanthrope (50)

Heavy:
1x Carnifex with crushing claws (135)
1x Carnifex with crushing claws (135)

Bioblast Formation:
3x Warriors with barbed strangler (100)
1x Carnifex with two devs (150)
1x Carnifex with two devs (150)
1x Carnifex with two devs (150)
1x Tyrannofex with rupture cannon (205)

Total: 1510

On a 6 wound monster, maybe, but carnifex that get shot at tend to be killed that turn, espcecially if your opponent is aware they have regeneration.

You're quite right about Catalyst - it's one of the best powers in any discipline, let alone the tyranid one.
I'd hesitate to throw it on the warriors (depending on the opposition), because S8 firepower will cause instant death - this not only takes away feel no pain but drops your three wounds per model into the bargain.

Warriors are hell to kill with small arms fire (as tough as terminators) but fall apart like wet paper against battlecannon fire and similar. By comparison, Feel No Pain on a monstrous creature (like a carnifex) is one of the fastest ways to give your opponent ulcers. Put it on the Tyrannofex and watch your opponent try and kill it!

Crushing claws carnifex aren't ideal to my mind. I'm not opposed to melee carnifici (I own eight!) but with a shed-load of S9 attacks and hammer of wrath blows, punching through tanks is not really an issue. The difficult bit is reaching the enemy, hence adrenal glands (giving you fleet) is probably a better use of points

Termagants expended for the Hive Mind: ~2835
