Looking to order one of these for a startup to my Iron Hands but it seems to be missing from the Dark Angels tab and i cant find it in search. Using the US siteThis a sign of new coming box sets?
BA, Eldar, Tau, daemons and Crons still have theirs listed though.

I doubt there's a new box coming for DA.

Meant a general new wave of box sets for Christmas, or maybe just renaming the current ones

Did the old box have the old style front (IIRC figures on a battlefield)? If so it's probably going to be reboxed with the new bland "figures on a blank surface" box, and knowing GW the price will go up a couple of bucks to boot.

But if the DA battleforce is gone, what will I recommend to people wanting to add some bikes to their C:SM marine army? <sigh> That box was a nice little package for a good shot of fast attack into any codex marine army. Hopefully they just pulled it for a re-print.

My thoughts exactly. Now its the only non- SoB army without a box set afaik

Did I?

Besides everyone knows that Dark Vengeance is the Chaos battleforce.

The CSM "battleforce" is also gone now.
Probably due to the upcoming release of the "DV expansion" as their new boxed sets.
Not a fan of either honestly.

Anyway, if you want to get bikes, the only way now is the basic biker kit.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Dark Vengeance expansion set? Wow... that's just what the game needed.

I can see it as a “where to go next” box. The DA one looks like a good replacement for the old DA battleforce. Useless to anyone who’s not a Dark Angel, or willing to file off a LOT of iconography, but filling a very similar role.

Of course, I don’t recall ever hearing a good thing about the dark talon, so it might end up being like the old boxes, where there was some decent stuff, bundled with chaff for no real savings.

Well, a dark talon makes a GREAT crashed airplane terrain piece.

Dark Vengance, gives 3 bikes and lots of models to trade for MOOR bikes

But they are chock full of DA iconography. Which if you are playing White Scars, or other codex marines, is a pain to remove. The old DA battleforce had all that stuff on seperate sprues, so was nice for all of us non-DA players.

Dangit! You recommended it to me so I can fill in my fast attack and now it is gone. Luckily, one of my flgs has one.

the feathers is easily removed, wich leaves the pauldron and the fender symbol thats about 60-120 seconds work per bike a mild nuisance at worst.

I forgot to address this in my last message.

The RWCM and DWK are pretty good, since you can also make RWK and DWCM too. The Dark Talon and NJF are both kinda crap, so unless they are getting a rules re-write, this box is a bit of a waste.
