I am beginning preparations for TSHFT in Bellevue, WA this year. Comments and concerns are highly encouraged. This list is still being hammered out through test games and other random theory crafting. The fex in the drop pod seems infallible. I noticed others employing lictors to insure the deep strike is perfect, still toying with that idea. Barbed Hierodule eats up a ton of points, but is Anti-Lord of War and Anti-Armor so it's kind of an auto take at this point.

Approach: I love swarms, so the Tervigon & Endless Swarm are vital.

I don't get the rippers? Just an expensive troop filler that bring nothing to the table. Mucolids just seem so much better and cheaper.

Rippers are lords of the deep strike and take an objective for Maelstrom victory points. They have been an auto take for me as they fill up the troop requirement and lock in some extra VP.

Well you can get your min troops for 48 points less with Mucolids and get DS and get AA and get massive damage output.

Makes sense. Do they count as Objective Secured under the battle forged rule?

Spores so not scoring but who needs ObSec when you get S8 Ap3 large blasts for 15 point that can assault flyers?

Hahaha, fair point. My only burn from the past has been ignoring the mission objectives. They make or break a game.

Much love...but I think they faqed the Endless swarm into 3 Broods of each type of Gaunt. Early versions show x3, x2, but they "fixed" that.

Ipad was 3x,3x. I have not seen an Epub version that was not 3x,2x wonder if it has been updated.

gak, this confused me as well. The epub I have is 3x, 2x. However, Army Builder had it at 3x, 3x. Which one is right?! Hahaha, I can't seem to find Black Library FAQ for it...

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be 3x,3x. The Apple version is 3x,3x from day one, the "regular" one got corrected shortly after release.
