Say you have an Impassable building , like a Vengeance Weapon battery.
The rulebook specifies the number of hull points for a small, medium and large building, but not for an impassable building.

So how many point has the Vengeance battery ? none ? so it can't be destroyed, unless you pen it and roll a Total Collapse ?

Grey area unfortunatly, you'll need to discuss with your oppenent.

The last edition had it as a Small building (the edition it's rules were written in) as anything under 6"x6" was small. That rule is no longer present.

Ignoring Hull points really isn't an option, they're very part of the building rules now.

What size is the VWB? (hint its significantly smaller then the "medium" sized bastion)

They are going to need to discuss it with their opponent and come up with a house rule.

Being smaller than a bastion has nothing to do with what type of building it is.

RAW no one knows.

HIWPI I would treat it as my opponent wanted to, or small if he didn't care.

There is a chart that gives buildings hull points based off of size.

We know the Firestorm Redoubt and Bastion are medium sized.

The VWB is smaller then those and is the smallest building GW makes.

Its pretty clear that the VWB would be classified as a Small Building (and would have 3 HPs as a result). May not be as concrete as the rules just saying its a small building but its close enough to tell us what it should be.

okay thanks !
yes this is to be discussed with the opponent prior to the game.

I would probably play it as a small building, and logically the opponent will accept...

In your opinion sure, I think it should be a small building as well, but we do not have RAW for what it is.

We can only give our educated guesses.

" A building’s size will be listed on its terrain datasheet. " (Battlefield Terrain chapter, Building Size and Hull Points section).
