Ok, so I was heavily contemplating building a SoB army and really wanted something that screamed both "cleanse it with fire" and "this is ridiculous"....here is what I came up with. Thoughts?
(HQ) Uriah Jacobs - 100 pts

I know it lacks anything in the way of anti-air, but I feel the wave of close combat/flamer death followed by 14 MM would tear up most of the units that could contest any objectives. Really looking for input. All in all, I think this army would be fun and stupid to play at the same time.
*EDIT* Made a mistake with too many crusaders in Uriah's ride. Fixed and played around with points. Exorcists replaced Retributors
*EDIT 2* More carelessness with transport capacity. Decided to drop some missile launchers and bring in the screaming condemned lumberjacks*

Personally I would not bother with the Storm Bolters - you could have a flamer instead?
Multi-meltas in the Ret Squad are going to be Snap firing when they get out of the Immolators - Rhino would allow you to shoot out the top?
Or you could just get an Exorcist
Death Cult Assassin's can't Assault of the immolators - are you starting with them in them?

Storm bolters were to add a small touch of range to the squads.
My plan was to leave the Rets in cover and allow their Immo to go wherever.
The death cult would be starting inside, moving up as fast as possible, getting out and just waiting that first turn on foot before charging. I figure I'll lose half to fire/counter assaults, but the immolaters heavy flamers should keep the enemy occupied a bit to allow them a little breathing room. I admit it isn't the best planned army, but it was never meant to be super competative

It is what it is. I'm not convinced on the DCA, but they are what they are. Where's Uriah going? Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, if you're in an immolator I wouldn't bother with a Simulacrum. They will pop out and get nuked before they get a second shot. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, the extra girls on the BSS squads seem like a waste.

I Agree with pretre here. Besides what are you planning on doing with the crusaders? Cause they are very durable but lack real punch, Why don't you mix the crusaders and the DCA a bit more. That way you can soak up some wounds with the crusaders when you're waiting a turn before the charge

Yea, a mix of crusaders and DCA's make for a very nasty unit with a priest or two. That and the look on your opponents face after you make the 5th 3++ on that S10 AP1 wound makes them all worth it.

I'm afraid this certainly screams "this is ridiculous" to me. So many assault units but no assault transports.
This is not your fault, there is no way to get an assault transport without allies, however I don't see your MSU squads surviving very long if you intend to get them into assault.

I would do something like this with the squads
Crusader
Crusader
DCA
DCA
DCA
Priest with whatever
You can take some shots and frustrate some opponents,some of the time if you can make some 3++ saves. You're going to have to charge two units anyway to get anything done in combat bc the DCAs will die to shooting or even over watch to a lot of opponents. Dominions are,a must for first blood and to weaken transports . I don't know if the immolators can weaken large horde armies enough. It ought to be fun either way, I just think there are a lot of games you don't make your saves and lose a flank early and things go down hill Quick.
