Just wondered what opinion is on these? My first impression wasn't favourable but after a few looks I'm liking them more each time, still not sure about the nid version of a drop pod yet? But I especially like the Toxicrene.

Not especially keen on the models, they seem to lack the organic quality of the original new plastics like the trygon and new warriors they are more cartoonish and less scary monster. In terms of developing the army they are great!

Well, the models are a bit in need of getting used to.
But at second glance they could complement a Nids army very well.
Good to see the rules in WD.

I wouldn't say it too loud.
No data slate for the new rules. Cheers.

I'm not a Tyranid player yet I find myself drooling over the new models. Some of them look so alien, so different, which they really should feel like since, ya know, they are Tyranids. Specially the "Drop pod" and the "tick".

But I truly love the Neurothrope. Not only it looks damn cool, it has this cheeky smile on his face that pretty much says "Oh, you are so boned right now"

TN/AL/MS state line.

Aesthetic-wise I like the Malaceptor and the Sporocyst(and the Mucolid too). Rules wise the Tyrannocyte is a real winner. Deep-striking carnifexes are nothing to laugh at.

Definitely something to laugh at. A deep maniacal laugh as it kills everything around.

I may have to make a slight modification to my old Mycetic Spore. Based off of this, I'm thinking it should be relatively easy to add the 5 guns to the top (or middle) in a circle.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Favorable enough to wish (rather deeply) for a similar update for my orks. Or my Dark Angels. Heck, make it the DAs. They definitely need it most.

Maleceptor: Ehhh... it's situational at best and extremely unreliable.
Toxicrene: Potentially useful. It hits pretty hard, but it is relatively fragile. Could be useful with heavy threat overload though.
Tyrannocyte: AWESOME, pure and simple.
Sporocyst: Pretty good. I can definitely see the uses for this thing, although you're going to want to make sure it fits your list since taking up a crowded HS slot is a potential issue. Being the cheapest HS option is good though, and it can take the heat off other units for a low price.
Mucloid Spore: Again, pretty cool. It's skyfire option seems pretty unreliable, but getting some reasonable anti-tank/AP3 options for the army is nice, especially at the super-low price point. If only you could get a heavy biovore version though!
Neurothrope: We're gonna have to wait for more concrete rules leaks, but at the moment it sounds okay.

I don't like any of the current models that dropped, they just look kinda meh. But the Neurothrope looks gorgeous. Kinda reminds of Monster X from Godzilla Final Wars for some reason.
