I picked this model up on the cheap as I thought I could use it for my Traitor Chapter...however, I don't own the Space Marines codex (I use CSM codex for my army, but my friends are OK with me using SM models), so I don't know what exactly it its as I lost the slip of paper it came with.

Anybody know?

It came with pairs of lascannons, assault cannons, and plasma cannons which mount on the central turret, if that helps. And what look like 2x 3 pairs of Heavy Bolters which mount on both sides.

Thanks! Yeah it came with pilot and gunner sprue and all the bits to fill in the empty spaces, so far as I can tell anyways.

The previous owner has it all sticky tacked up so I'm guessing he used it painted as such with all the different weapons options to swap out.

10 bucks in a bin at a Hobby Lobby store...figured I could get some use out of it...if anythings missing I'm sure I can hobble something together for it.

IIRC You build the turret and cockpit around the Turret Servitor and Techmarine, so you may have a bit of a game retrofitting it, but it's more than two years since I built my twins, so not 100%

Cockpit cover pops right off, as does the turret cover (see picture), so I think I'm good to go

Not what I meant, I think the sub-assemblies for the two crew may be too large to fit through the aperture, as you normally build them in the seat and then the cockpit goes over the top of them, so inserting them through might be impossible or just frustratingly tricky.

Worst possible result is that you have to paint the canopies though, so hardly a massive issue!

I'm a fan, it is in essence, a flying Land Raider, AV12 all round makes it one of, if not the, most durable fliers in the game, there are inherent issues with using it's transport capacity, and it is best employed as a pure gunship, but consequently you could then make the case that it is over costed because you're not using all the features you pay for. I like them with TL Ass Cannon in the turret and TL MM in the nose and no upgrades, but TL LC in the turret are a good choice too, thanks to POTMS, like a LR, that can potentially take out two high value targets a turn.

Oh my....I think a law of physics was just broken. I never run into deals like that!

Thats close to my full assult on black reach for a tenner.
Needed a lot of work but 30+ units for such a good price!
