Hello all,

As the title says I'm looking for some suggestions for what to buy next for my Necrons.
Here's what I have so far:
Spoiler:
Destroyer Lord
Bargelord/Annihilation Barge
5 Gauss Immortals
27 Warriors
Ghost Ark
2 Night Scythes/Doom Scythes
5 Deathmarks
10 Scarab Swarms
6 Wraiths
Annihilation Barge

I'm thinking some crypteks, or some spyders or maybe some tomb blades (use as squad of one for objectives). I don't really want to spam anything (barges) because of the impending new codex which will likely nerf some stuff through the floor.
Cheers

Yes, a Cryptek or two are really useful additions, though you could easily build some from leftovers from a Lychguard/Praetorian box instead of using the official model (which is kinda nice, but boring and does not allow different weapon options).

Most players will advise against Tomb Blades, but I find them essential in 7th ed Maelstrom games - in small numbers though, just for objective grabbing.

Triarch Stalkers are much overlooked, but can be very very useful. I won some games vs. Tyranids only because I had one. The firepower is nice, but offering TL to all other shooters can be extremely powerful. If there is a MC that you just need to shoot down in this turn (e.g. because it failed a grounding test) there's nothing like twin linked Deathmarks shooting at it, with your other guns finishing the job much more efficient.

My armies:
Eldar
Necron
Chaos Space Marines
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights
Death Guard

Pro tip: buy a Triarch Praetorian box. These have staffs of light. Build the Praetorian bodies. If you have spare Deathmark heads, use them, otherwise go with Lychguard heads. Give them a staff of light in one hand.

Then, go to your bits box and find those Tesla guns from your immortals. See the curved bit on the front? That fits perfectly around the shoulder pad of your funky looking praetorian gent, and they look like a high-tech shoulder mounted rocket launcher or energy weapon.

This is my Storm/Destruct/Quake-Teks.

Or, you can build them as Lychguard with Warscythes. These are my Necron Lords.

Or, you can build them wielding trimmed versions of the Lychguard shields-you can make them look quite funky by trimming the flat plate sections. These are my despair-Chrono-Harp Teks.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Yeah I was definitely planning on doing that for crypteks.

I'm not quite sure which bits you mean here, if you post some pictures (if you've done this yourself), that would be awesome

Well, I'd opt for two more Barges. More bang for the bucks.
