I know this is very unfluffy, however has anyone ever tried to take a Farseer with the spirit stone of anathlan and runes of witnessing, then try to cast possession on the deamonology table? I'd only need it to roll successfully on 2 dice instead of the normal 3, and if I roll any double, failed and got a peril then I can use the runes to avoid the peril.

I've got a game vs Tau this weekend and I would love the look on my opponent's face if I dumped a bloodthrister in the middle of his deployment zone and because I'm allying with SM, I won't even give up a VP for slay the warlord

So has anyone tried this, or is this not possible and have I totally misinterpreted the rules?

Really? Wow OK... I'm not sure if I really want to turn into a WAAC / TFG but it sounds like it's worth trying just to see an opponent's reaction. Imagine 2x Great Daemons running round the board in a sub 1k pt game

You'll have to explain that one. If the Farseer is the Warlord, why would you not give it up?
And what does allies have to do with it?

Most likely the SM are the Primary Faction. So he gives up a 130-155 point HQ for 1-2 250 point beatsticks.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Very hard to tell from that description.

Had a game the other day with my opponent summoning Bloodthirsters, the look on your opponents face is normally amusement, as they know it can't do much for two turns after summoning.
Summoning involves bringing the Bloodthirster on via Deep Strike. As a FMC this means it comes on Swooping. No charges that turn!
Next turn it needs to switch to Gliding. No charges that turn either!

Yeah, the blood thirster is a waste of a summon. 2 turns without doing anything. That's why the tzeenth ones are better. Shooting powers and attacks right off the bat. Way more useful

The Kipper of Secrets is generally the best beatstick to summon as it is fast and can assault the turn after it arrives as well as repositioning up to 9" on the turn it arrives. Though best alrounder to summon is the Cod of Change

But don't the rules for possession state that you just replace a model? So that it doesn't deepstrike and just counts as being allready there and can charge? At least that's how our local daemon-summoning player played it out.

Its still a conjuration power and as such still has to deep strike. It doesn't make an exception to this.

It doesn't replace anything, it summons the model as per Conjuration rules, and removes the other model.
