I see no reason why not, as long as the deamons have the transport to themselves. I've tried 20 daemonettes plus herald in a spartan. Fun times, although bloodletters should be better against MEQ.

I can't see a reason why they wouldn't be, although I had not thought of doing that before...
As far as the wording for instability it only mentions joining units, not embarking on transports

So daemons and landraiders is cool?
That could solve the problem of getting bloodletters in assault without being shot to pieces.

Spending 220+ points to get a 100 point unit (with 1A base, at that) into combat doesn't really resolve anything about them. They'll get to their target, maybe do something, and then die like flies. You're better off taking Berzerkers - and that's saying something.

Yeah fair point. I wish I could make Bloodletters work somehow. But they just dont.

As far as I see there is no reason why not. Battle brothers rules say they can. So go for it

Actually, the best might be putting demons in cheap the lost and the damned Chimeras. That way, your bloodletters could get into combat easily, and still stay below 150pts.

The lack of the Assault Vehicle rule defeats the point sadly.

Yeah, putting Daemons into a Spartan is a great way to get a very mediocre unit into assault. Totally legal, but why bother.
OTOH, having a Spartan deliver, say, a 20 man Noise Marine squad with full sonics, close combat weapons, and a psyker that casts endurance on the squad - that's totally legal too, and incredibly punishing.
You have to think about assault vehicles differently with allies. You might want to have better delivery options for troops in your primary army, but your allies often have something better.

Plaguebearers and Heralds of Nurgle are pretty boss to put in Assault vehicles.

They cannot start in a transport that is a dedicated transport of another unit (i.e. Rhinos). But in Turn 1 you can embark them inside

A transport not purchased as a dedicated transport, yes.

IIRC individual Noise Marines can't buy both Sonic Weaponry AND ccw. But awesome concept, you could always mix-and-match.
@ OP yep everything has been stated about transports and daemons that needs to be, rule-wise. Battle Brothers ftw.

I don't think you are remembering correctly, but I don't have the book to confirm. I have recollection of it saying something along the lines of: Any Noise Marine can purchase a Close Combat Weapon.... X/model The Champion is granted one for free via Errata.

Noise Marines can trade bolters for sonic weapons. CCWs are an add on, there is nothing preventing them from taking both.
There's a player at my FLGS who has been wrecking some face with this combo. He's proxying the Spartan with a Land Raider, which is disappointing, but the Noise Marine models are all well-represented.
HUGE number of shots reduces the potential for overwatch, then the MoS allows them to strike first in most combats while the Spartan shoots up other things. The NMs have the IoE to give them FNP after they wipe out units, and they just reembark to do it a second time.
It's pretty unfair to opponents. This is as close a death star as CSMs get.

About to start Chaos, and now I have an irrational desire to convert a Kharydbys and stick 19 Bloodletters and a Herald in it...
