Ta very much – next month I'll be working on a Raven Guard. Any inspiration for his role/equipment/style would be very welcome.

It you're looking for ideas, I suggest you try and make it embody the stealthy side of the RG. I'd be interested to see if you can make an upscaled Marine still look sneaky and subtle!

If you're going to do a RG then please try and give Sharrokyn a try. Lurching over with 2 blades pulled out with a sniper Bolter mag locked somewhere.

I'd prefer a stealthy one over sharrowkyn since he's kinda too over the top; he's a crazy sniper, dual wield monster, stealth master and of course, he has a jump pack. It's almost every raven guard stereotype rolled into one character.

Imo a marine who just seemed proficient at stealth due to training and not flashy armour captures the raven guard more than double lightning claws and jump packs or people who can essentially go invisible

Raven Guard! Awesome stuff man! The severed hand is a nice touch, it really adds to the feel that this guy has gone through hell and is still in there somewhere!

Next month is a Salamander. Wondering whether to do another wounded fella, or try something different. Any thoughts?

I don't know if they were during the Heresy, but Sallies are generally known for their compassion towards humans. One defending some huddled civvies or digging a guardsman out of some rubble would be cool/different.
