So Ive been playing 40k for a while and I'm aware creed really isn't that great for what he does. I also know 2 ccs's would be a much better investment than creed. I also know kell is completely overpriced and garbage.

But I'm curious as to how I could make a decent list with these two at 2k or 2.5k

To take advantage of creed I will most likely need lists of infantry units to make use of his orders.

Also what fortifications might work best with creed. As in I have a lot of wall of martyrs network pieces and I got an aegis line and a bastion so I can work with a couple different things.

Would platoon blobs be a good choice or should I run a bunch of vet squads on foot?

As some others might be aware I do indeed usually include leman russes in all my lists so I will have to work then in there somehow lol.

See what you are paying for on Creed, and try to utilize those. E.g. he has 2 warlord traits, and can re-roll them. So you can theme your army around a warlord trait, and has a nice chance to get it (somebody should do math hammer here). So, what's your dream warlord trait and how would you use it? What would you use your 3 senior officer command a turn? Would you add 2 more with CCS or go for other HQ?

I've seen a proposition of Kell buffing HWT leadership to 8.

Creed in Maelstrom is nuts. Roll on the Warlord chart table made for those missions and reap the benefits

I honestly don't think I've ever actually looked through the maelstrom warlord traits but having creeds traits might actually be useful. But that is interesting and I will have to look into, are there any really good traits I should aim for in that table?

This was an idea. I still wasn't sure if I wanted to run a couple heavy weapon squads separate from the infantry squads but I suppose I probably should since it would make some use out of kell lol.
