So I'm having trouble facing most of the players in my local meta with my CSM's so I'm trying to come up with better lists and could use some advice.
-HQ-

My local meta is made up of power gaming Tau and Eldar, a horde Ork player, a Scion player with two Imperial Knights, a tank heavy Imperial Guard player, a Deathwing player and some other armies sprinkled here and there.
Could this list hold it's own against them or do I need to go back to the drawing board?

Looks like a fun list, for sure. You have enough firepower to take on armor and cleanse the map of hordes. A few observations:
-The helbrute can only take one missile launcher. I recommend either a Reaper AC or TL LC to turn him into a mobile weapons platform. You could drop a heavy flamer from one or two of the Mayhem pack brutes to pull points. Knight players cringe when you start dropping melta all over the map, while the LC on your Cult brute will keep him honest.
-Remove the 6 extra cultists from your troop selection and add them to the fearless Helcult instead, as you will get more mileage out of them.
-I have mixed feelings towards the stock MM on the Mayhem Pack. I find that I end up missing key shots more often that not, and like upgrading to the TL palette of weaponry. That being said, you have enough TL melta in the Oblits to compensate for any mixed shots, so swapping one out for a Reaper could help out. Both weapons will benefit from rolling a 1 or 2 on your Crazed roll, but having 4 TL str7 shots can ruin someone's day.

K, I took your suggestions. Look better?
Also, for the second Heldrake should I stick with the Baleflamer or go with the Hades Autocannon?

If you have problems with air force then get hell blade jet fighters from Imperial Armor 13 instead of a dakka drake.

I have never used the Hades (always turned off by BS3), and you have enough AA with your vector strikes and TL weaponry (and don't forget the AC on the Oblits). As such, I would stick with the Bale Flamers to melt stuff into slag. Go forth and conquer.
Sidenote: I am also intrigued by the Hell Blade as well.

Looks fun. Only problem I see is half your army starts in reserve. If one of the drakes fails a reserve roll, thats a problem. If the mayhem pack fails its roll, youre probably losing because of it.
As far as autocannon drakes, Ive had success with them. Daemonforge is a great rule, and I almost always use it immediately.
A hellblade is a good unit for 100 points, but if your opponent has any AA at all, its going to die early.

What do you guys think of the Fire Raptor Gunship?
Do you think it could bolster this list if I replace the Helcult pack with it? Automatically Appended Next Post: Actually n/m, it would be 174 canadian before shipping...
