Trying to work out a good Nid list for a league/tournament coming up. It allows 1 primary, 1 ally and 1 formation. I decided to go with Leviathan to get a 3rd HQ. I know I can do it with a formation but I am not sure if any of them would really improve this list.

I'm still on the fence if drop pod swarmlord is better then drop pod Dimachaeron....Swarmy costs 85 more but I save that much by not having to take a comm relay since Swarmy comes with +1 reserve rolls. He's is a little bit weaker in melee but gets lv 3 ML and synapse so it seems like the better way to go (for a drop pod melee MC).

I might drop the hive commander for electro grubs on the flyrants but the ability to outflank the tervigon could be useful for strategy. My main concern is will this list hold up to LOW and/or multiple knights. I don't expect anyone to bring a titan but there is a knight army player and there could be baneblades and trancendant c'tans at the tourney.

Looks like a good list. But... You really need to find 30 points to get Thorax Hives for everybody who can take them. OK preaching over...
