As it says. I'm gearing up to trap my trekking brother in law, and have got him a tiny-prise and base set for Xmas. Tidying my tokens I noticed I.had a double FF - thought I would try to get him his name in lock tokens anyone able to help out, or at least point me in the right direction?
Cheers chaps!

I believe E came with the G'Roth amd J comes with the TOS Enterprise.

I didn't think the tinyprise had J, I could be wrong though, I've got some I think, I just need to hunt them down.

It's a sad fact that folk only get it for the Tribbles...

Cheers mate!

Thanks for input fellas. I think our TO can sort me with the 'E', but if the J proves elusive, I'll probably hassle y'all again!

Koloth is pretty awesome too. Whenever I play against him, he causes no end of frustration.

The G'Roth comes with some great cards, but the poor D7 got shafted by the designers. I use them in TOS, but they are out classed by the newer ships.

Agreed most strenth 5-6 ships with a lock-on or re-roll of some sort oneshot them with ease outside of era specific OP's. Which also happens to B'rels even without a the target-lock. I wish they would stop pumping out B'rels and K'tingas and give us some more Vor' Cha's. It is unclear what the Ning'Tao is, web search states K'vort in memory Beta and it was a K'vort for the CCG, however in memory alpha its just BOP. I found another reference that stated B'rel, via a DVD encyclopedia, I think from one of the the DS9 seasons. I can't seem to find the reference a second time. sorry!

How many D'deridex are out plus one on the way? 4.... Khazara, P'amjr (PB&J), Avatar of Tomed, soon the Haakona. I agree the primary weapon is a little weak for such a large and mainline vessel in the TNG era, but Klingons really need a few more large mainline Vor'cha's. I don't think they need a super vessel like the Scimitar or an easy button/ must take ship, however synergy and combo cards would be nice.

Interesting. Does anyone use a particular Target Lock? I use these four the most:

GG -"Good Game" in my best British accent.
ZZ- I'm a big fan of ZZ Top. Eliminator is a classic rock album.
I1- A classic.
QQ- "Are you crying? There's no crying in Star Trek Attack Wing!"

DD... well I'm a perv.
ZZ... same as you

I don't really use any others, I rarely use target lock outside of playing Klingon. I prefer battlestations and or scan for Feds and Cardassian/Breen (I don't say the D word)

P for Picard. J for Janeway. S for Spock. D for Dukat, etc etc.

The least brainpower I need to use for bookkeeping, the more I can use to try to avoid being utterly incompetent at the game.

You know that didn't even occur to me I just use the letters that come to hand! You're much more logical, Mr Compel, than me!

So the assimilation of my brother in law continues - he loves his tinyprise, and likes the game. Now the next step is his birthday: do I get him a starter set, or get him an Ent-E and another fed ship? I can sort him with tokens etc, and the fed cards from the starter if need be. What would be a good way to go, my fellow dakkatrekers? Better to have the starter and all the bits, or get him a couple of cool ships (pondering equinox). He's really only ever going to be fed as he's a purist fanboy...

Give him a few fed ships, if he's already playing and doesn't need the rules and so on. Let him build a fleet up.
