I think the answer to this is "yes", but I'd like to see what you think:

If a Weirdboy joins a unit of Tankbustas, do all of his witchfire psychic powers get the tank hunters rule (re-roll on AP)?

Tank hunters says "A unit that contains at least one model with this special rule..."

and "...both shooting and in close combat..."

Since witchfires are shooting attacks, can those strength 10 beams (and all the other Ork psychic goodies) get rerolls?

*Blink* And I thought it was fun when I split off my warphead from a unit of boyz so he could finish beating a tank to death with his staff (S8 on a charge to the rear of a tank that forgot to move the previous turn).

You mean Str7
Don't forget you still need to roll to hit against tanks that don't move.

Yes, that sounds legit. I may have to try this one out in a game. Weirdboys are great fun to use and Tank Hunters with the beam of death could be awesome.

Half the powers could potentially benefit from it a bit. The beam and Da Crunch are probably gona benefit the most. Nice catch on this combo!

On, and killsaw meks will benefit too! Not that it's necessery.

Crap and double crap. You're right, S7, not S8. I counted Furious Charge twice. Both of us got confused about to hit on tanks. Possibly either remembering part of an older rule set or memory getting garbled and thus confused between immobilized and didn't move.

Oh well we'll try and remember for next time. Either way, my ork boyz glanced to death 4 SoB tanks with their choppas.

The hitting vehicles is a subtle change from last edition. Easily missed.
