  • What do you guys think of this? The idea of fielding all these princes sounds like a lot of fun haha. GUO rolls on biomancy, as well as the slannesh prince (both hoping for iron arm), While the rest of the army rolls as much daemonology as possible to bring in objective sitting units. Both Daemon codex nurgle princes will be swapping one of their greater rewards for a balesword, and their lesser for a plague flail (for +1 attack and using the flail against vehicles. That +1S is really helpful against rear armor). Any input is appriciated!

You'll be a lot happier if you take Fateweaver instead of the Slaanesh DP, as his warlord trait prevents the warp storm table from screwing you over (and believe me it will). Also, you might want to consider Be'lakor for the CSMs, as guaranteed invisibility=amazing. Otherwise, looks pretty good.

I'm definitely gonna have to pick up fateweaver, he seems like a popular recommendation. Would it be worth losing that solid AA piece in the prince though? That Ml4 is very tempting (especially with the addition of 2 daemonology spells via FAQ)

It is worth it. Remember that fateweaver can vector strike flyers for d3 5s ap2 wounds (because that makes sense). Also, Be'lakor for the CSM's. Using Invis on a DP is awesome, and you already have 2 nurgle princes. Be'lakor also has shrouding from his shadow form ability so he can jink if you need to.

The lone soul grinder seems a little out of place. You might be better off getting a heldrake from your CSM detachment. It can also help in the AA department with its S7 vector strikes

I tried that today in my game against imperial fists, the drake was making its points back left and right. Definitely sticking with the drake. The slannesh princes shooting + vector strikes were more than enough to handle aerial threats

Yeah, my first thought was that Be'lakor would be better than the DP for the CSM detachment. Other than that, I like all the MCs and think this list is going to hurt some opponents.

So here's the updated list, I took everyone's recommendation and added belakor. HOLY CRAP. Be'lakor proved his worth and then some against tau today. Having the ability to invis either himself (which I used as bait, it took a whole armies shooting to crack his invis and 2+ jink, leaving my other princes untouched for the charge) or other units was worth its weight in gold.

    Thanks for the advice guys
