I did these guys while enjoying a nice Sangiovese and listening to the Flyers get throttled by Vancouver. They are good enough for me!

Anyway, I am not finished teddy. I want to put plaid patchwork on the arm and leg areas that are gray. Mr. Graves was a bit of a pain with his tiny head syndrome. Picture flash created a blue tint but is definitely no on the model. Curse you iPhone 5s!

Tip about taking mini photos- don't use the camera flash. Get 2 lights and point them at the sides of your model you want to take a snap of.

Oh I know it's just that where I took them and the time of day factored in. I wanted to show off Teddy's different eyes. Thanks though!

Only just really started with Malifaux. Been playing the Gremlins and only have 1 miniature painted. Unfortunately piccies are too dark.

Anyway, I am currently working on Burt Jebsen so here is a WIP picture of him. I need to sort out the Hair, Trousers & Boots. I will probably throw a glaze on the skin as well.

Here's a WIP for my Collodi crew. I'm going with all the puppets as little versions of the masters in the game, so he has puppets of Colette, Molly, Raspy, etc. This is the first one I've gotten on the painting table so far

Not as impressive as some of the awesomeness on this thread, but good enough for the tabletop (good thing I just compare my stuff to my own previous work, otherwise seeing some of the minis in these parts would cause me to hang up the brush).

Electric Creations and an Essence of Power

Man there is some cool cool stuff in here. I havnt played Malifaux in a couple years I'd bet, I know the main rules have changed at least once since then, maybe I should get back into it because I love the setting and such. Any who I only have a picture of one painted mini from my crew but I played Pandora. Here's my baby Kade. The theme for my crew was to have them seem like a black and white photo of themselves but anything else is colored.

Well I completed Burt Jebsen. The only shot I have is before painting the rim of the base green.



Also completed my Pigapult. Quite happy with the overall look. I need to do some work on my layering though.



And this is my current work in progress. The newer version of the War Pig. I have the older one painted, will dig out and post a pic when I get a chance.

Toshiro. I'm not sure about the orange of the collar, the yellow and blue match my Ten Thunders... but the orange I was thinking of redoing as green. I think it would tie him to the Ressurectionists a bit more.

And my greatest sadness. Izamu. I had it very well painted (I think) and then my matte varnish spewed a thick white layer of dust on it. I corrected as much as I could before going to game with it, and then I just never finished the job, I'm too disheartened.

I ought to. It's a beautiful model.

If you hadn't said anything, I would have assumed that the dust was an intentional effect. On Izamu in particular I think that it's an effect that fits his background. I really like it as it is.

It ain't half crazy. It certainly rationalizes my lazyness away.

Rationalizing laziness is my primary strategy when it comes to painting.

Thanks. My wife just confided that until I showed her the pictures, she'd never been able to see the minis that well. We then had a long conversation about reading glasses.

I love the bamboo basing. How did you do it? (I also run Yan Lo and Chiaki.)

They're just toothpicks, cut in half lengthwise. In other words, lots of superglue on my fingers.

Nice work, Mathieu, I like Yan in particular.

Something I've noticed about Malifaux models, particularly the new plastics. It's very hard to make them not look good. The models have so much character, and work well with both bright or dark and gritty paint schemes and have just enough detail to break up the models that it's always a joy seeing a painted crew.
