Subject: Waaagh Ghazghkull FOC and Dread Mob?

Unfortunately I remembered to ask this question while I am at work (shhh) and so I dont have the supplement to hand, but I know that the detachment FOC that it gives as an option says that it can be used for an orks army. This is fine and obvious.
However, I have been playing with some lists for the Dread Mob codex, and up until now I have been running them using the standard Ork FOC (the one with 3HQ and ...9troops?). I know I would also be able to use the default CAD deployment (old school FOC), however I have realised... I'm not actually sure if I would be able to use the ghazghkull detachment FOC or not.
I mean its an ork detachment, and dread mobs are orks. And there's no significant "overpowered" benefit to using it. I even lose a HQ slot, which for orks is painful as a lot of their boosts come from their HQs.
Any thoughts on the matter?

I can find nothing stopping Dread Mobz from using any of those Detachments.
The only restriction being they all have the Ork faction.

legit.
dreadmob from IA are just unit selections for orks at this point, so they meet the requirements for the ork detachment in orks codex, and the ghaz detachment.

If you mean the dread mob as in waagh ghzghkul i think your wrong. the dread mob can't be part of the CAD or any other for that matter in terms of command benifits. This because the Dread Mob is a formation and a formation is a detechement on it's own. So basically if you take a CAD and you want to have the Dread Mob with you, you need to fill up all mandatory CAD slots and all Dread Mob slots. A unit can't be part of 2 detechements.
However, if your list meets the requirements for either the formation or the detachement, you can chose which camnd benefit set you'll take.

No, not the formation.
The OP is referring to Forge Worlds Dread Mob, it's effectively an alternative Ork Codex.
