My nickname is Flo and I've just join the Dakka community.

I've come to know about the 40K universe from a friend (I've had heard of it during my youth but that's all).
So my friend lended me some W40K books and I liked the grimdark universe plus the bolters, chainswords, Titans (who doesn't enjoy big robots ? Seriously ?!), etc. I am currently reading the HH and painting some figurines.
I'm not a hobby player and I won't become one (too strategic, I prefer role-playing games). I just like reading the books of the 40K universe and painting with my friend.

I've come to know DakkaDakka from Tutofig (and the painting club who created Tutofig isn't far from my home, so one day when my baby will have grown a little, i'll join their association !).
I ended up joining because I want some peer review on my painting (and also because my workplace's proxy rules have changed and DakkaDakka isn't blocked anymore \o/).

For the moment, I have painted a squad of Grey Knights (I've been influenced by the novel "Emperor's gift") and I am finishing a squad of Salamanders (I like their compassion towards normal humans).
Next I'll do some diorama (more fun to paint)
